Flowers. Candy. Chocolate. All far too mundane for a unique woman like Beka Valentine. She didn’t wear jewellery, disdained fine silks. All she needed was a cup of coffee and a slipstream drive to be happy – and that, she could provide for herself.

Tyr had spent much time in contemplation, musing over the ideal present for his lady. While the St. Valentine’s Day holiday was overly sentimental, he enjoyed surprising her with romantic gestures.

He looked up as she entered the Maru, smiling at him, naked in her bed. What did he get the woman who didn’t need anything? Himself.
